1. What this policy covers

This policy applies to:

• the Zorren website;
• the Zorren app and dashboard;
• Zorren-hosted capture pages;
• Zorren unsubscribe and resubscribe pages;
• email open-tracking pixels used in broadcasts sent through Zorren.

This policy does not cover customer websites that install the Zorren snippet. Customer websites are controlled by the relevant customer, not Zorren. Customers are responsible for their own cookie notices, privacy notices, consent wording, and website compliance.

2. What cookies and similar technologies are

Cookies are small files stored on your browser or device when you visit a website.

Similar technologies include:

• local storage;
• session storage;
• pixels;
• scripts;
• tags;
• authentication and session technologies;
• email open-tracking pixels.

These technologies can help a service work, keep users logged in, remember basic settings, process forms, secure accounts, or record certain interactions.

3. How Zorren uses cookies and similar technologies

Zorren uses cookies and similar technologies to operate, secure, and provide the service.

This may include use for:

• logging users in;
• keeping users signed in;
• authenticating account access through Clerk;
• protecting accounts and sessions;
• routing requests;
• loading the app and dashboard;
• submitting hosted capture page forms;
• processing unsubscribe and resubscribe pages;
• supporting Stripe Checkout and billing flows;
• remembering minor app or dashboard state;
• preventing abuse, fraud, spam, or security issues;
• debugging and service operation.

4. Strictly necessary technologies

Some cookies and similar technologies are necessary for Zorren to work.

These may be used for:

• authentication;
• session management;
• account security;
• dashboard access;
• billing and checkout flows;
• hosted capture page submission;
• unsubscribe and resubscribe functionality;
• abuse prevention;
• service routing and availability.

If you block these technologies, parts of Zorren may not work properly. You may not be able to log in, manage your account, use the dashboard, complete checkout, submit forms, or unsubscribe.

5. Functional technologies

Zorren may use browser storage or similar technologies for minor functional purposes, such as remembering basic interface state or keeping parts of the app working smoothly.

Zorren does not currently use local storage or session storage for advertising or behavioural tracking.

6. Analytics and advertising technologies

Zorren does not currently use website analytics tools, advertising cookies, retargeting pixels, or third-party behavioural advertising pixels.

Zorren does not currently use tools such as Google Analytics, Meta Pixel, TikTok Pixel, LinkedIn Insight Tag, Hotjar, PostHog, or similar tracking tools on the Zorren website, app, dashboard, or hosted capture pages.

If Zorren adds analytics, advertising, retargeting, or similar tracking technologies in the future, this policy will be updated. Where legally required, Zorren will also use an appropriate consent or preference mechanism.

7. Email open-tracking pixels

When a Customer enables open tracking, Zorren adds an invisible image to HTML broadcasts.

An open-tracking pixel may record that an email was opened. It may also record related technical information generated by the recipient's email client, device, image-loading behaviour, or privacy tools.

Open tracking is enabled by default. Customers can disable it for their account or for an individual broadcast before sending. A disabled broadcast does not contain Zorren's open tracking image.

Open data is approximate. It may be blocked, inflated, delayed, or distorted by image blocking, email privacy tools, automatic preloading, spam filters, email client behaviour, and recipient settings.

Recipients can reduce email open tracking by blocking external images in their email client.

Customers are responsible for giving required notices and obtaining any consent or other authority required for tracking their recipients.

8. Hosted capture pages

Zorren-hosted capture pages may use necessary technologies to:

• load the page;
• submit the form;
• process the enquiry;
• record consent status where required;
• prevent abuse;
• support service security and reliability.

Zorren-hosted capture pages do not currently use advertising pixels, retargeting pixels, or website analytics tools.

9. Customer website snippet

Customers may install the Zorren snippet on their own website.

When the snippet is installed on a customer website, that website is controlled by the customer. The customer is responsible for:

• telling visitors about the snippet where legally required;
• providing any required privacy or cookie notices;
• obtaining any required consent;
• configuring the form and field mappings lawfully;
• making sure their website complies with applicable laws.

The Zorren snippet is designed to send form information to Zorren so Zorren can process the customer's lead capture workflow. Zorren does not control the customer's website or its other cookies, scripts, analytics tools, pixels, or third-party services.

10. Third-party providers

Zorren uses third-party providers to operate the service. Some providers may use cookies or similar technologies as part of their services.

These providers may include:

• Clerk, for authentication and session management;
• Stripe, for hosted checkout and billing flows;
• Vercel, for hosting and service delivery;
• Convex, for backend service operation;
• AWS SES and AWS SNS, for email delivery and email event processing.

When you use Stripe Checkout, you may be taken to Stripe's hosted checkout page. Stripe may use its own cookies and similar technologies according to its own policies.

11. Managing cookies

You can control cookies through your browser settings.

Most browsers allow you to block, delete, or limit cookies. Browser settings vary, so check your browser's help section for specific instructions.

Blocking cookies or similar technologies may affect Zorren's functionality. Some features may not work without strictly necessary cookies or storage technologies.

Zorren does not currently provide a cookie preference centre because Zorren does not currently use optional website analytics cookies, advertising cookies, retargeting pixels, or third-party behavioural advertising pixels.

12. Do Not Track and global privacy signals

Some browsers offer "Do Not Track" or similar privacy signals.

Zorren does not currently respond to browser Do Not Track signals.

If Zorren adds technologies that require separate consent or preference controls in the future, Zorren will update this policy and any relevant consent mechanism.

13. Changes to this policy

Zorren may update this Cookie Policy as the service, providers, technologies, or legal requirements change.

If we make material changes, we will take reasonable steps to notify customers, such as by email, dashboard notice, or updating the date at the top of this policy.
