Setup

Get your customers onto your list

There are two ways to set this up. Most people only need the first one, it takes about two minutes, and you can't break anything.

Add it to your website

This part is optional. If your website already has a contact form, Zorren can save everyone who fills it in, automatically, so you never copy anything across by hand.

Happy with your link? You can skip this whole section.

Using a different builder?

Look for a setting called Custom code, Footer code, Code injection, or Tracking code. Paste the snippet there and, if asked, choose all pages. That's it.

Rather hand this to whoever built your site? Send them the snippet with this line: "Please add this before the closing </body>tag on the page with the contact form."
For developersIt's a standard async script tag. Place it once per site.

The snippet attaches to the contact form on load and posts submissions to Zorren.

Static HTML

Place the snippet just before the closing </body> tag.

Next.js

Load it with next/script, or add it to the root layout so it runs on the form page.

Django

Add it to your base template before the closing </body> tag.

Rails or Laravel

Drop it into the shared layout before the closing </body> tag.

Booking sites like Fresha, Vagaro, Square, Calendly don't allow custom code, so this step won't work there. That's fine, just use your link on them instead.

Last step

Check it worked

Before you rely on it, send yourself one enquiry and watch it show up. Takes a minute.

Your test run
  1. 1

    Send yourself one enquiry

Open your link (or your website form) and fill it in using your own email address, just like a customer would.

  2. 2

    Open Contacts in Zorren

Go to the Contacts page. If you added the snippet and Zorren asks you to confirm your form fields, tap Save.

  3. 3

    See your test entry

There you are, at the top of the list. That means everything is working. You can delete the test entry any time.

Nothing showing up? Don't worry. Use your link for now, it works without touching your website, and come back to the website step later.
